Prof. Lee Chee Wee

Prof. Lee Chee Wee is the Director for Aquaculture Innovation Centre, Technology Advisor for Temasek Polytechnic and Co-Director for Centre for Aquaculture Research, Innovation and Education in Nanyang Technological University. He received his BSc and MSc from McGill University, Canada, and PhD from the University of Alberta, Canada. He was a recipient of the Alberta Heritage Foundation Scholarship for Medical Research. Dr Lee had carried out his Post-doctoral Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, USA, before pursuing his academic career at YLL School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, where he is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor.

Dr. Michael Phillips
Director of CGIAR Research Programon Fish Agri-Food Systems (FISH), WorldFish, Malaysia
Dr. Michael Phillips has over 40 years’ experience of research and innovation in aquaculture and fish agri-food systems, most recently as Director at WorldFish for the CGIAR Research Program on Fish Agri-Food Systems (FISH), a multi-country program to advance sustainable aquaculture and small-scale fisheries in the Asia-Pacific and Africa. Michael holds a Ph.D. in Aquaculture and Fish Behavior from the University of Stirling and a B.Sc. from the University of Lancaster, UK.
Prof. Chih-Yang Huang
Associate Professor at Department of Aquaculture, National Taiwan Ocean University
Chih-Yang, Huang is an associate professor in the Department of Aquaculture, College of Life Science, Taiwan National Ocean University, where he teaches Aquaculture, live fish transportation, Conchology and Introduction of Aquarium. He is the author of more than twenty handbooks and guidelines to introduce ornamental aquarium industry, healthy management and disease control of ornamental fish and develop the farm to breed ornamental fish, especially the seahorse (Hippocampus spp.) and giant clam (Tridacna spp.).
Dr. Rasheed Sulaiman
Director, Centre for Research on Innovation and Science Policy (CRISP)
Dr Rasheed Sulaiman V is Director, Centre for Research on Innovation and Science Policy (CRISP), Hyderabad, India. He has more than twenty-eight years of post-doctoral experience in research on agricultural extension, agricultural innovation systems and programme evaluation. He coordinates the AESA Agricultural Extension in South Asia (AESA) Network and is a Member of the Board of the Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services. Dr Rasheed is a Member of the Steering Committee of FAO-Tropical Agricultural Platform and he is also serving as an Associate Editor of the International Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension (JAEE).
Ms. Martina Spisiakova
Knowledge Management Coordinator, APAARI
Ms. Martina Spisiakova works as APAARI’s Knowledge Management Coordinator, coordinating the KM and innovation programme and activities. Martina has almost 20 years of international experience in knowledge management, and programme management, in the context of rural and agricultural development. Prior to joining APAARI, Martina served as Knowledge Management Officer in the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) – based Indonesia, and before that in the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in Rome, Italy, where she started her development career. Martina has also acted as one of the experts in the evaluation process of research and innovation networks of the European Union. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor degree in Social Sciences with Economics.
